Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematosus. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer, if you have diabetes, an iron deficiency, a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer, a kidney disorder, a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice), or if you are having surgery. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking an anticoagulant/blood thinner, an anti-inflammatory, sulfonamides, birth control medication, are undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or if you have an allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato). Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult your health care practitioner. If you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner (as these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar). Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
Keep out of the reach of children. There is enough iron in this product to seriously harm a child.
